Image via The first day of Summer has arrived! And it is hot in San Francisco. Actually...it is scortching hot in The Bay Area. Normally SF residents do not wear shorts..but today..I would wear shorts and find the nearest pool!do not forget to drink plenty of water, you do not want to dehydrate. Plenty of Our Futon Shops have air conditioning, so please come on in and check out our products. We have lots of fun patterns for your outdoor furniture as well. We custom make cushions, if you need new cushions for you backyard furniture. We specialize in eco-friendly fibers, so...we can accommodate any green conscious consumer, as well as many different budgets, since we make all our furniture in San Francisco.
Things that I have found to be enjoyable in San Francisco when the heat is on the Higher end has been:
1) Enjoying the San Francisco Library- so many floors of books, the building is huge and beautiful..and right across from the Library you can go and visit San Francisco's City Hall, which is magnificent inside.
2) Golden Gate park- at Stow Lake. This is one of my favorite places in The park. There are sunny parts..on benches, or you can cross a couple of the bridges over the lake and go into the shade and walk on the trail. Or you can be adventurous and venture out with some friends in one of the row boats, paddle boats, or rent one of their two seat bicycles. Or be like me and just sit and watch everyone while I feed the Geese, and ducks. Oh..and you are bound to see a couple of turtles just looking around on the logs centered at the edge of the lake.
3) There is a multitude of Museums in the city. And if are a resident..well..you just might get in for free on certain dates.
